Week 9: Doing the illustration

Before jumping in the illustration, I reported the style research process and outcome to the clients to make sure they are good with that art direction. The result is they were more than happy for me to pursue that illustration style.

I did some more research on the typical elements that are included in the animation to find inspirations on how to draw them.

The result is this piece of illustration. However, as the company style is more dark with black background, I have to alter this illustration, though I find the original one looks better.

The final step is to add some extra details on the background, and layer- planning each element carefully to transport to After Effects for the animation.
