Week 8: Style Research

I conducted some research on a few illustration styles and found one that could not be more suitable, both for the company's style and my drawing skills. That is continuous line drawing.

Then, I have to do some research on the interior design of the luxury stores that the client wanted me to convey in the animation. However, I found that just for a small animation to promote a function of the app, it is not necessarily crucial to put the interiors of the whole store inside to let viewers know that they are in a luxury environment. I suggest the clients that rather than having to draw the stores, we could let viewers automatically recognize the ambiance by adding some small details like a white glove on the salesman's hand, or a famous designer bag.
